Martha's Vineyard

Forgive me for the long hiatus. I've been juggling tons of things lately that made me MIA for the past days or week. Even that I can't keep track. Anyway, the part II of my trip few weeks ago are coming up so brace yourselves.

Its been ages since the last time I saw such a beautiful and serene beach here in east coast. Probably because you can't really see any here in New York. I was in awe when I saw how gorgeous the beach was and couldn't wait to jump off the water. Spell really excited!

I had a chance to savor their lobster roll and mind you, that was the freshest lobster roll I've ever tasted to date. And of course what is a complete meal without a dessert. We grab some ice cream at Madd Martha's and a scoop was like bigger than my whole face. Haha! It was fun eating though, because it feels like you're running in a marathon otherwise it will disappear in your hands.

I had a fun trip this summer. I am still hoping that we could get a little bit of summer but the wind is starting to feel breezy again. Fall is coming and I can't wait to fall for the autumn season once again.

Essex and Cape Cod

A week ago I visited Essex and Cape Cod as a part of my "once in a year go to a place you've never been before" bucket list. As what they say, you don't need to book a plane ticket just to make it possible. Whether it may be a 3 hour drive or almost a lifetime spent up in the clouds, you really need to go out and explore the world. It is amazing out there. Believe me.

So on to my outfit, I opted to wear something really comfortable and not too tight. Since that I'll be seating for 5 hours or so during the travel, I figure to wear nothing too skimpy otherwise, hello there Deep Vein Thrombosis. Okay maybe I am overreacting here. The bottom line is we all want to enjoy the scenic views rather than stress ourselves with ill-fitting clothing. Of course this outfit wouldn't be complete without my fedora. Besides that it added an extra oooohmp to my ensemble it also necessary to protect my face from the scorching sun. Talking about double purpose there loves! :)

I went to Martha's Vineyard too! I will talk about that on to my next post so please tune in regularly my lovely readers.

Color Festival

As promised here are the pictures from the Color Festival that I attended last weekend here in New York. It was full of music, fun, lovely people and of course COLORS! And because this event was full of rainbows and good vibes, I would like to share to you all the things that I am grateful for.

1. Another blessed year has added to my youthful years.

I can't believe how time flies so quickly that I haven't  notice I age another year again! Yay! But I have nothing to bemoan about because I reap so much blessings from the past year.

2. My uncle is on the road to recovery.

July was the time when my family gone through the test of time. It was hell. Just when I thought that everything seems to be all going down in the dumps, a miracle happened. God indeed is faithful.

3. My "heart" and I are having the best of time in our not "your typical relationship."

FYI we are on a LDR. I know it's hard that's why it amazes me how we are making things work. Everyday it's different... everyday is a learning experience. I am so thankful for all the unwavering love that he is giving me everyday. I love you with the intensity of 1000 suns.

4. I got a new haircut!

It has been ages ago since I planned to have a haircut and finally I had a chance to drop by to my favorite salon to channel the best hair possible.

5. A vacay trip!

My family and I scheduled a trip next weekend to Martha's Vineyard. More experiences and pictures to share with you guys!
